Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter owner Elon Musk apparently want to fight and are egging each other on in a string of social media posts.
As reported by Variety, Zuckerberg was being mocked in a Twitter thread about his recent medal-winning performance at a Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament.
“I’m up for a cage match if he is lol”, replied Musk on June 20. Not replying on Twitter, but instead screenshotting the tweet and posting a story on his own platform Instagram, Zuckerberg replied: “Send Me Location.”
I have this great move that I call “The Walrus”, where I just lie on top of my opponent & do nothing

Musk posted another tweet seemingly in response saying “Vegas Octagon”, but kept up the bit by joking about “this great move I call ‘The Walrus’, where I just lie on top of my opponent and do nothing”.
Meta responded to Variety’s request for comment saying “the story speaks for itself”, which basically clarifies nothing.
While Zuckerberg essentially gained all of his fame and success through social media, Musk only joined the game, very reluctantly, in October 2022. After offering to buy the company but quickly pulling out, Twitter sued Musk before he eventually bought the social media giant for $44 billion.
